Adidas released Arsenal's new away jersey for the 2021-22 season, inspired by the 1971 away jersey, paying tribute to the Gunners' double-crowned season when they won the league and cup games and won the FA Cup trophy at Wembley Stadium.
In the jersey design, the cannon logo replaces the previous club badge, which will also become Arsenal's first cannon logo jersey in the Premier League.
The new away jersey features a pearl lemon yellow color scheme with a college navy blue logo on the body and crimson details on the sleeves. Also worth mentioning is the cannon logo on the jersey. The last time the team used the cannon instead of the logo was back in the 1988-90 season when the jersey was also designed by Adidas.
The new badge will also appear on navy shorts and yellow socks.
All Arsenal 2021-22 kits feature the 'Arsenal for Everyone' logo on the back collar, a tribute to the diversity of the Arsenal family.
Arsenal for Everyone is Arsenal's Diversity and Inclusion campaign launched in 2008 to make every member of the team's community feel the same sense of belonging.
The new jersey will be available in two versions: player version and fan version. The player version of the jersey is equipped with Adidas HEAT.RDY heat protection technology, which promotes cooling and perspiration, creates a comfortable body feeling and helps players to play cool and confident.
The Fan Edition features AERO READY technology for a comfortable fit that keeps the athlete on track.
The new season away kit also includes the goalkeeper jersey, which will be released together with the new home goalkeeper jersey.
