Barcelona Third Away Jersey 2021/22
Nike and the Barcelona Club of Spain announced a new third jersey for the 2021-22 season. The design embodies inspiration from talented young artists in Barcelona, and ingeniously carries out traditional red & blue stripes interpretation on Nike's classic style with innovative thinking behind it all!
The new Jersey relies on the traditional vertical red and blue stripe design but adds many very distinctive details. The iconic skyline of Barcelona is captured in neon hues with local landmarks like Poble-sec (old town), Poble Nou(new city), and Grace Districtfive blocks made up from Gràcia, Raval Les Corts.
Young artists used creative images to interpret what they think each landmark looks like for its chosen artist - so you have an outfit that tells stories about these neighborhoods too!
The striped design of this jersey pays tribute to the majority of Barcelona supporters who wear scarves on match day. The color blue is also used, which they share with their top counterparts- but there's something special about these shorts: dark blue strips that say "Our Barça". Socks will also have a slogan written in El nostre language (Spanish) meaning "our" or singling out our team as unique from other ones.
During gameplay, you'll see both messages appear simultaneously; when we score anyone can rejoice because victory has come just for us!
